A few weeks ago a friend, Patrick Landrum of PL& D Design http://www.patricklandrumdesign.com , referred a client to us to repair her existing lighting system quickly because she had a big event coming up soon.  I met with this nice lady, and she told me she had been looking at our website and was very impressed.  But she also thought that since we were primarily a design/install firm that we probably wouldn’t want to bother trying to repair her existing system, even as a temporary fix for her event.  At that moment the light bulb above my head turned on, and it dawned on me that we must not be doing a very good job of letting people know that we are experts in troubleshooting, repair and restorations!

I actually got into the outdoor lighting industry as an electrical contractor, so troubleshooting problems in a lighting system came pretty naturally.  Also, since we have two AOLP (Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals) certified techs on our team, this makes us the most qualified outdoor lighting company in central Texas.

Now, it turned out that her outdoor lighting system was actually quite old, and the products installed were very low quality, so it will have to be replaced. But for her time crunch, we were able to get most of it to work for her event.  After her party we will design a new and maintenance-friendly LED landscape lighting system that will last a couple of decades.

Our team of well-trained technicians is familiar with every professional grade outdoor lighting product on the market, and can usually make repairs with little difficulty on the spot.  We don’t work on DIY products that are usually purchased at home improvement stores, however.  Those poorly made products cost more to repair than they are worth, and we feel that we would be doing the client a disservice by working on them.

If you are in our central Texas service area:  Austin, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, Horseshoe Bay, Georgetown or other local community, contact us here to set up an appointment so we can look at your landscape lighting system.
